Babies
from non-English speaking homes can attain native-like English pronunciation
effortlessly through the ALL English for babies® programme.
At three months of age babies are citizens of the world:
their babbling is the same no matter where they live and what languages
they are being talked to. At four months, babies that receive input
of more than one language realise whether they are being addressed
to in one or another. These four-month-olds also begin to understand
the meaning of words and phrases of these languages. When babies are
eight months old, they can reproduce the sounds of the languages they
have been listening to and their babbling already has an accent. Their
world citizenship is now over and their capacity to imitate sounds
accurately starts to fade. The earlier babies are exposed to English,
the easier it will be for them to learn it with native-like pronunciation.
The babies in the ALL English for babies®
programme make the most of their early language learning capacity.
Babies easily record the structures of the languages to which they
are exposed.
Babies easily record most of the structures of
the English language which are introduced through the ALL
English for babies® programme. If this
English learning process were interrupted and taken up again, the
new learning cycle would be easier for the baby than if there had
been no previous learning experience.
Through ALL English for babies®, babies
receive optimal early stimulation which facilitates the learning process
of multiple intellectual activities.
Research shows that babies’ brains grow considerably if they
are exposed systematically to a second language. This exposure produces
and reinforces neuronal connections that support the intellectual
development of babies, not only in the learning of foreign languages,
but also in other areas.
With ALL English for babies®, very young
learners develop an emotional relationship with the language, with
the adults and with the babies they are sharing this playgroup with.
With ALL English for babies®,
the learning process of the English language becomes part of the child’s
relationship with others. In these joyful and playful meetings, the
babies’ emotional memories are stored with positive experiences
that will encourage them to continue learning English and predispose
them favourably to face future learning situations.
